Worst mistake ever made was hiring Andrea. She did not fulfill our contract and kept money she did not earn. Worst then a contractor who would be in jail for what she did. Bar complaints will follow this review. She stole over 5 thousand dollars! Her depositions were horrible, and her courtroom knowledge was lacking. Because of her lack of filing motions my brother had to sit an extra 10 days to wait for a bond hearing. She just wants easy money, and when she realizes you are smarter then her she will stop talking to you. Worst lawyer ever even the polk county public defenders office got a better outcome. We lost a dog and 20k in dirt bikes due to her refusal to honor her contract!

I contacted Andrea DeMichael to represent my niece on an underage sale of alcohol. Andrea met with Rebecca ( my niece) and I and ask questions and advised us of our choices and alternatives in this case. First thing I appreciated about Andrea she never made us feel obligated to hire her. After reviewing our choices we decided to hire Andrea and proceeded with the cost and what she could do for us. Actually the what she could do for us was turned around to what would you like as end result in this case. We told her we would like a diversion program and she responded with then that’s we will do. Again no promises were made and all paperwork and waivers were presented in very timely manner. Communication with Andrea was always on time and available. Before you know it the court date is here and a diversion program is the result. I will tell you Rebecca was a mother of 4 and pregnant with her 5th during this time and being able to win this charge with a diversion program was a win win for her as well as her family. Rebecca has reflected on this charge (of being in convenience store cashier and one time of not carding a patron) as time to put family first and change careers as life is too short. Rebecca was very grateful for Andrea and her services and how she always felt Andrea was very personable, professional, honest, all the while never leaving us to feel we were defeated, a bother, or anything less than special to her. If you have ever just gone to the phone book and just picked an attorney then I pray you came out ahead like I did. This was definitely a win for me . This was a first attorney I ever used and will be the only attorney I ever use or recommend.

Attorney Andrea DeMicheal was a very prominent and professional attorney I only called to try and get some clarification and information on my case as I could not afford her services and she is located in too far of a county from me but even after hearing all of this she still took at least 1 hour out of her busy day to hear me out and answer everything I had questions on. She was very real with me and did not lead me in any wrong directions. I think if you have anything you need to know about the law or any problems you should give her a call as she happily will answer your questions and give you a good idea on what to expect. I had received violation of PTR and had a warrant pending for my arrest. I called Andrea’s office, she answered the phone, I did not have to wait for an assistant to reach her. She was very understanding of my situation and was very knowledgeable. I had spoken with a few attorneys prior to her and none of them made me feel the comfortability that she did. It wasn’t a question in my mind that I would go with her. When I chose her, she gave me a number I could reach out to her directly in case of emergency. She was able to get me in front of the judge within a few days and was able to resolve my case without having to do jail time for the situation which I was extremely grateful for. DeMichael Law was our first choice due to a friendship going back to our middle school years! We have reconnected in recent years due to our work with Veterans. Andrea was my very first thought and never considered anyone else. I knew we could trust Andrea to provide the best guidance and assistance for the circumstances. There was a clerical error with the DMV causing one of our driver’s licenses to be expired and therefore invalid (according to the actual license - it was valid, just not in their system). We were not aware of this issue until a traffic stop. Andrea assisted us with her legal expertise and ultimately the case was dropped by the state. It is difficult when something like a clerical error can cause such a ripple effect. I highly recommend DeMichael Law even if you think your troubles are minor. I also suggest checking your Driver’s License on DMV website regularly! :)

I was in a county jail feeling like wasn't being heard. I was unlawfully detained and after putting faith in my public defender and the state attorney's to figure out my problem I got in contact with Demichael law and they were able to get me released within 48 hours of contacting them. I am a firm believer that things happen for a reason. After going through several consultations I decided to check google one last time. I came across the DeMichael Law Group and I felt comfortable immediately even despite me calling minutes before their office closed. Andrea made me feel heard and the icing on the cake was how knowledgable she was with every aspect of my case. Andrea and her assistant Michelle was always available to answer the many questions I had. Some of them were just me having anxiety about the entire case and the possible results. They never made me feel like my questions and concerns weren't valid. I am now and have been for awhile a single mother and this was the first time I have ever been in this situation. My main concern was the possible outcomes and how they could affect my ability to take care of my children. I could go on and on but to sum it up my case resulted in me not being charged at all and the case was closed. I believe the legal term was "No Bill". Having Andrea explain what this meant for me was more than I could put into words. Even writing this review I don't feel is enough to show how grateful I am to her.
