I contacted Andrea DeMichael to represent my niece on an underage sale of alcohol. Andrea met with Rebecca ( my niece) and I and ask questions and advised us of our choices and alternatives in this case. First thing I appreciated about Andrea she never made us feel obligated to hire her. After reviewing our choices we decided to hire Andrea and proceeded with the cost and what she could do for us. Actually the what she could do for us was turned around to what would you like as end result in this case. We told her we would like a diversion program and she responded with then that’s we will do. Again no promises were made and all paperwork and waivers were presented in very timely manner. Communication with Andrea was always on time and available. Before you know it the court date is here and a diversion program is the result. I will tell you Rebecca was a mother of 4 and pregnant with her 5th during this time and being able to win this charge with a diversion program was a win win for her as well as her family. Rebecca has reflected on this charge (of being in convenience store cashier and one time of not carding a patron) as time to put family first and change careers as life is too short. Rebecca was very grateful for Andrea and her services and how she always felt Andrea was very personable, professional, honest, all the while never leaving us to feel we were defeated, a bother, or anything less than special to her. If you have ever just gone to the phone book and just picked an attorney then I pray you came out ahead like I did. This was definitely a win for me . This was a first attorney I ever used and will be the only attorney I ever use or recommend.
